Descriptions of Themed-Parties

Family Theatre Birthday Party (Ages 2-9)

A gaily-costumed storybook character hosts your party as youngsters play games and have fun learning about theatre etiquette. Then it’s into the theatre for one of our award-winning Family Theatre plays. At the end of the performance, the Birthday Child makes a guest appearance on stage!

Create A Play Birthday Party (Ages 8 to 14)

Youngsters play theatre games, work with make-up, props and costumes, and create their own mini-performance which they present for parents and friends (video cameras welcome!).  Hosted by one of the Playhouse's accomplished workshop facilitators

Enchanted Fairytale Birthday (Ages 3-5)

Costumed theatre artists lead a creative adventure that includes interactive story-telling and fairytale re-enactment, complete with props that guests hand craft during the party.

Dance Studio Party (Ages 6 & up)

This fun-filled event includes a warm-up and dance lesson culminating in a performance routine for all party participants to enjoy.  No dance experience required.  Parents are encouraged to videotape the end performance. Includes a dance T-shirt for the birthday girl/boy.

Creative Movement (Ages 2-8)

Youngsters will be led on a 45 minute dance adventure exploring various creative movements, from acting like animals to dancing in costume.  Includes a dance T-shirt for the birthday girl/boy.

Character Tea Party (Ages 6 & up)

Participants will play “dress-up” as they go through the treasure chest of costumes followed by a character make-up session where children will morph into their favorite characters and play a variety of theatre games.

Princess & The Prince Party (Ages 4-9)

Young “princesses” are greeted by their favorite princess as they pick out a gown and receive a glamour make-over.  These young ladies will then take part of a crowning ceremony, where the birthday girl receives a tiara and then sits on the royal throne while the other girls join in on a parade. The princesses are then led in a variety of fun-filled activities, and possibly a dance with Prince Charming!! The birthday girl gets to keep her special tiara.    Crafts are included at an additional charge. 

Primp & Pamper Day (All ages)

Young ladies are given a day to just sit back and relax while having their hair and nails done. This will be followed by a brief glamour make-over and a chance to play in the costume treasure chest complete with feather boas.  After getting all “dolled up”, the young ladies will perform in a fashion show for all to see.  Picture takers are more than welcome!!  Crafts are included at an additional charge.

Magic Carpet Birthday (All ages)

This unique party has a Moroccan flair for young girls and boys alike.  Participants are led in a genie dance and instrument lesson followed by various theme-related activities, including a magic carpet!!!!  A magic scarf is included for the birthday girl. 

Jewelry & Craft Party (All ages)

This fun-filled day includes an hour of instruction and the making of unique jewelry or crafts.   The birthday girl/boy will receive a special gift from the instructor.  This party includes an additional charge for jewelry/craft supplies.

PRICES

$175.00 per party which includes up to ten (10) children.

$150.00 per party of ten (10 or less) children is the special discounted rate for Centre Stage students of 3 months or more!!!!
